Restaurant Manager KP s Kitchen

KP s Kitchen is an independent neighborhood restaurant in Houston s Memorial and Spring Valley area. We re looking for a hands-on manager who can lead the floor, work expo during busy service, coach the team, and help us deliver warm, reliable hospitality. Weekend service is the priority.

Pay and schedule

• Starting pay: $22 $24 per hour, based on experience
  

• In-person role
  

• Friday, Saturday, and Sunday availability required
  

• Tuesday and Thursday are expected workdays
  

What you ll do

• Lead floor service, direct staff during shifts, and resolve guest concerns.
  

• Work expo during busy periods, coordinate with the kitchen, and step in to provide practical kitchen support when needed.
  

• Train and coach team members on service standards and shift readiness.
  

• Complete weekly kitchen and beer/wine inventory counts for the owner to enter and review.
  

• Manage coffee and nonalcoholic beverage ordering within an agreed budget.
  

• Help prepare for and execute catered events, with the opportunity to take on more event leadership over time.
  

What we re looking for

• Experience leading shifts in a full-service restaurant.
  

• Hands-on expo experience and calm judgment during a rush.
  

• The ability to coach staff and handle guest concerns professionally.
  

• Dependability and consistent weekend availability.
  

• Large-event catering experience is preferred.
  

We review compensation as the manager demonstrates strong shift leadership and successfully takes on additional operating and catering responsibilities.
