Angelina's will be a neighborhood restaurant in Portland's Slabtown neighborhood where you can come as you are and dine as you want. Drawing inspiration from classic American steakhouses and bar & grilles of generations past, and reimagined with a modern, Sesame Collective twist. Named after a spitfire Sicilian grandmother who spent her life feeding people and building community, Angelina's is built around the idea that great meals don't need an occasion, preferably just company.

We're looking for [role] team members who bring real kitchen skill, or the drive to build it, and want a kitchen worth growing in. You'll have a solid team to lean on, quality ingredients to work with, and a clean, well-run kitchen to actually hone your craft in. The people who thrive here aren't necessarily the most experienced on day one, they're consistent and reliable, stay curious and direct, and bring a "Yes, and" mindset to whatever the shift throws at them.

The Details:

• Employees work 4 days typically
  

• $16.80
  

• Wash and sanitize all dishes, pots, pans, and utensils by hand or using the dishwasher. Sweep, mop, and keep the dish station and surrounding areas clean and orderly.Check chemical levels and let management know when cleaning supplies run low.
  

Additionally you have:

• Clear communication with your team, especially calling out orders and staying on the same page during a rush
  

• Strong organization and time management, keeping your station stocked and multiple orders moving at once

A few practical things before you apply:

Work Environment: So you know what to expect physically: near continuous standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motion. Frequent lifting, carrying, and pushing/pulling up to 25 lbs, occasionally 50-100 lbs with assistance. Standing continuously up to 12 hours a day, working around open flames, hot surfaces, and sharp equipment. Frequently walking up & down stairs to access work areas. Moderate to high noise level.
