We re Hiring: Line Cooks

Honorable Mention is a chef-driven sports lounge located inside the historic Benson Hotel in downtown Portland. As we expand our hours to include weekend lunch service, we re looking to add one or more experienced line cooks to our kitchen team.

Our current staffing needs include Saturday and Sunday lunch coverage as well as additional PM support during the week. We have some flexibility in how we fill these positions. For the right candidate, weekend lunch shifts could be combined with evening shifts to create a larger schedule, or we may hire separate cooks to cover our lunch and PM needs.

This could be a great fit for someone looking for consistent weekend daytime hours, someone looking for evening shifts during the week, or a cook interested in combining both into a more regular schedule.

• Previous line cook experience in a professional kitchen
  
• For our weekend lunch position, availability Saturday and Sunday is required
  
• Availability for weekday or weekend PM shifts is also needed
  
• Ability to work clean, organized, and with urgency

Compensation:
Based on experience
