Bartender

Standard Brewing seeks a mature and gracious person with a strong work ethic and sense of integrity to join our front of house behind the bar. We've been quietly serving superb beer, cocktails and food to our neighborhood for 13 years.

* Great Service - we rely on our long-standing relationships with our neighborhood and great service is the basis for this.

* 2+ years bartending, bar backing or serving experience with some existing knowledge of beer, classic cocktails and natural wines.

* Kindness - treat others with respect and always take the high road.

* No drama - we seek someone that doesn't sweat the small stuff.

* Self Education - beer is at the core of our world, the industry is ever-changing, and we produce many styles with nuanced variation. An interest in beer that compels our staff to self educate is very important. We provide materials and education to help achieve this.

* Efficiency - we do great business here, and we need people who can crush a line on a Friday night.

* Initiative - we run with a small staff and need someone who can take ownership & pride behind the bar by having strong attention to detail and a desire for organization.

* Professionalism - Standard is a fun and cozy neighborhood joint, a lot of customers treat it as their second home, being friendly while having boundaries is a bonus!

* 2-3 days a week (Roughly 14-21 hours per week, with opportunity for coverage)

* Minimum wage + tips (around $43/hr on an annual average)
